“If I only had one hour to talk to SLPs about the R sound, what would I want to tell them?” This presentation is Lindsey’s answer to that question. “Top 5 Tips to Rock the R” is a summary of what she thinks will give SLPs the most “bang for their buck” when it comes to seeing progress in their R therapy sessions.

It’s no secret that the R sound can be intimidating to treat. All too often SLPs and students find themselves stuck at the elicitation level, never quite achieving a true R sound. In this presentation, Lindsey dives into a multitude of multi-sensory strategies that can be used to elicit R. Included in the discussion are pointers on determining how and when to use certain cues, as well as therapy video demonstrations.
