Each target word in this Boom Card bundle has both a bunched and retroflex video model. Get 200 trials for each type of R: prevocalic, recurrent, AR, AIR, EAR, IRE, OR, ER, and RL blends. Each deck in this bundle has 20 target words- that’s A LOT of R practice! The videos provide an up-close model so students can really see what the tongue is supposed to do. This makes it homework-friendly and great for independent practice during group sessions.

Depending on the speed of your internet, the videos may take a few seconds to load on each card. It all depends on how quickly Boom’s website can communicate with Vimeo, where the videos are hosted. Please also be sure that the internet network you’re on allows you to use Vimeo.
It should also be noted that I, the speaker in these videos, am from Texas. While I don’t have a thick twang, this does mean I may pronounce some words differently than how you would model for your student.
