Research indicates that addressing speech perception may be a key for some students with speech sound disorders, particularly those with residual speech sound errors. This boom deck scaffolds speech perception tasks by looking at minimal pairs in the initial, medial, and final positions of words, as well as in R blends. Don’t leave this step out for your students!
